This Patriotic Santa was created in my head a couple of years ago. Due to the events of 9-11-01, I put him on hold. We will never forget those tragic events, but this is my lighter version of "A Tribute to America". He stands proudly, holding the American flag. A drum is carried over his shoulder. I have made a Besty Ross doll with her own hand sewn primitive flag and a "Yankee Doodle" coloring and painting book, which are in his right arm. At his feet are an antique horn and one of my hand sewn mohair bears. The bear is saluting and wears a paper hat and carries his own little flag. This Patriotic Santa is wearing a Unitity Ribbon on his jacket. He stands 36" tall.
